What an incredible day on the Greenway! 🌳☀️

Our Summer Family Fun Day was a tremendous success, with more than 100 children and their families coming together to enjoy one of Waterbury's greatest outdoor treasures. For many, it was an opportunity to experience the beauty of the Greenway firsthand while spending quality time with family, friends, and neighbors. Families enjoyed meeting the Waterbury Police Department's mounted unit, getting up close with the department's two horses, grabbing a delicious snack courtesy of PAL, and cooling off with a sweet ice cream treat. From games and giveaways to smiling faces throughout the afternoon, it was a wonderful celebration of community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, our community partners, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event possible. Your support and enthusiasm made the day a memorable one, and we look forward to bringing our community together for another Family Fun Day in the future!

Two lucky kids are going to have an unforgettable Summer Family Fun Day thanks to the incredible generosity of the Greater Waterbury YMCA! 🚲🎉

The YMCA has donated two brand-new bicycles that will be awarded as prizes during this year's celebration on the Greenway, helping make an already exciting day even more memorable.

We are grateful to the Greater Waterbury YMCA for their continued commitment to our community and for helping create opportunities that bring smiles to the faces of Waterbury's children. Thank you for your support, we can't wait to celebrate with everyone!
