Last week was a busy one for Public Education!
The week started with an informational talk by FLSE Kathy Peterson on Emergency Medical Alert devices at the Community Center.
Tuesday was all about kids! The morning found kindergarten students from Lakes Pond Baptist Church at Company 5 for a station tour and learning how to operate a hose. Then in the afternoon Great Neck’s First Grade class visited for Police Appreciation week. One group of students toured the Police Department with Officer Hodges while the other had a lesson on “Calling 911” and a tour of our Dispatch Center with Miss Kathy.
Thursday we attended the Health Fair for our friends at AHEPA. Great information was shared.
Saturday, Fire Fighters from Company 1 participated in a Touch a Truck event at Friendship School’s Spring Fling .
Summer here we come!
