🦁🚗 We had a great time attending the Tichigan Lions Club’s 21st Annual Car Show today! It was a beautiful day filled with incredible cars, great people, and plenty of community spirit. We’re always grateful for the opportunity to get out of the station, connect with our neighbors, and support the organizations that make our community so special. A huge thank you to the Tichigan Lions Club for putting together another fantastic event and for allowing us to be a part of it! Thank you to the members who volunteered to be here and those who stayed at the station for calls. From all of us at Tichigan Volunteer Fire Company, thank you for having us! ❤️🚒

What an incredible evening at the Waterford Police Department’s first-ever National Night Out! 🚓🚒

We were honored to be part of such a great community event alongside so many amazing local organizations and vendors. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to meet your local first responders, ask questions, and enjoy a fun evening together.

A big thank you to the Waterford Police Department for organizing such a successful first National Night Out, and to all of the vendors and community partners who helped make the event a success. We loved being there and are already looking forward to the next one!

Yesterday the Tichigan Volunteer Fire Company was proud to be part of a wonderful community tradition, the Tichigan Lions Club Parade! Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer us on, wave, and support your local first responders. Seeing so many smiling faces along the parade route reminds us why we’re honored to serve this incredible community.

Last weekend, the Tichigan Volunteer Fire Company hosted our annual camping weekend at the station. Members, along with their friends and families, spent the weekend enjoying great company, playing games, sharing meals, sitting around the campfire, and making memories together.

While events like this are a lot of fun, they also serve an important purpose. Volunteer fire departments are built on teamwork, trust, and strong relationships. Spending time together outside of emergency calls and training helps strengthen the bonds between our members and their families. These connections carry over into the firehouse and onto emergency scenes, where teamwork and communication are critical.

Volunteerism requires a significant commitment of time and energy, and having opportunities to relax, socialize, and include our families helps support the health and well-being of our members. It reminds us that we are more than just a company. We are a family.

Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the weekend and helped make it a success. We are grateful for the continued support of our members, their families, and our community.

Our thoughts are with one of our neighboring fire department, Village of Waterford Fire Department, members following a serious motor vehicle accident. Over the years, we have had the privilege of working closely alongside him on numerous calls and incidents, and we’ve seen firsthand his dedication to serving others and his commitment to the fire service.

For the past 5 years, he has proudly served his department and community, always willing to step up when help was needed. Now it’s our turn to support him and his family during this difficult time.

Our crew had a great time attending STEAM Night at Washington Caldwell! It was awesome to see so many curious and excited students exploring science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. We loved talking with everyone about fire safety, showing off some of our equipment, and letting the kids get hands-on with fun activities. Thank you to for inviting us and to all the families who stopped by our table. We’re always proud to be part of our community and help inspire the next generation!
