Waterford Fire Engine Company No. 1 provides the citizens of the Town of Waterford Fire and Rescue services.

The Waterford Fire Engine Co 1 is staffed by Full Time Fire Fighters Monday-Friday 6:00am-5:00pm. From 5:00pm-11:00pm the fire house is manned by a part time fire fighter. From 11:00pm-6:00am responses are handled by Volunteers. Waterford Fire Engine Co 1 houses an Engine, Ladder, and a Service Truck. Waterford Ambulance Association also keeps an ambulance at the fire house.

We would like to congratulate Past chief, and Dispatcher for the Town of Waterford, Michael Smith on his retirement! After over 30 years of service he is making his way to the sunshine state. His time, dedication, passion and hard work will be forever missed as he left such an impression on the fire department, the members, and the town of Waterford as a whole. We will miss you chief, enjoy the sun and don’t forget the sunscreen!
