It is time to vote for the Lego Challenge contest for August. We have three entries this month. The theme was Back to School, and it seemed like each entry needed a bit of explanation, so be sure to read the captions on each photo. As always, likes and comments on each one count as votes.

We've had a lot of questions lately about donating books for our book sale. We love that this community is so generous, and we appreciate your donations, but we just don't have a place to store them until after the new year. Please refer to our guidelines to know what we can and cannot accept, and bring them around in January or later. If you really need to get rid of books sooner than that, Union City Public Library has graciously agreed to take them. Give them a call to see what and when to drop off.

If you were expecting a book in our delivery, we're sorry to inform you that the truck isn't coming today. Our next delivery days will be Wednesday and Friday. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Summer Reading Program Wrap-Up: If you haven't had a chance to turn in your reading log for prizes or have missed a week or two, your last chance to do so will be next Wednesday, August 26. After that, we'll be packing all the prizes and books away until next summer. Don't miss getting the prizes you've earned!

Our Lost and Found is full again! If any of these items belong to you, please stop by and claim them. We're going to keep them around for a week or so and then donate them. We're going to try one more time with the photos, and then they will be disposed of. We hope these items find their way home!
