North Seneca Ambulance is proud to announce the launch of its new Peer Support Program. It was implemented to provide confidential emotional and mental health support to our staff.
North Seneca Ambulance recognizes the unique challenges faced by first responders on a daily basis. This initiative aims to ensure that our employees have access to the support they need. As our program grows, it will be available to all emergency services personnel and organizations that choose to participate in Seneca County.
The Peer Support Program will offer:
Confidential one-on-one peer support
Assistance following critical incidents
Stress management and resilience resources
Referrals to additional professional services when needed
The program was founded by Lieutenant Bonnell, who serves as the lead of the Peer Support Team. The team is comprised of three additional members who are also trained in peer-to-peer counseling.
First responders face high-stress and traumatic situations. This program ensures they have a trusted person to speak with who understands those experiences firsthand.
For external agencies interested in seeking more information about peer support partnerships, they can contact Lt. Bonnell at [email protected]

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our volunteer, Jaiden Zimmerman.

Jaiden was a dedicated and hardworking member of North Seneca Ambulance who gave countless hours to this agency and to the people we serve. He was actively working toward passing his EMT course, and it was clear to everyone around him how much this work meant to him. He showed up with dedication, heart, and a genuine desire to help others.

Jaiden’s commitment to this agency and his willingness to serve his community will not be forgotten. He was an important part of our North Seneca family, and his loss is deeply felt by all of us.

Please keep Jaiden’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

Congratulations to Kerry on completing her final ride shift for paramedic class.

This is a huge milestone and a reflection of all the hard work, time, and dedication she has put in throughout the program. Over the coming weeks, she’ll be moving on to the testing phase as she works toward becoming a paramedic.

We’re proud of everything she has accomplished so far and are excited to see her take this next step. Good luck, Kerry, we’re all rooting for you!

North Seneca Ambulance would like to extend a huge thank you to Walmart and the Walmart Spark Good program for their generous $1,000 grant.

This funding will help support improvements to our IT infrastructure, enhancing patient care charting and strengthening our ability to teach classes and provide education. Investments like this make a real difference in how we serve our community each and every day.

We truly appreciate Walmart’s support of our mission and their commitment to helping local organizations grow and better serve those around them.

Thank you, Walmart, for your generosity and support!

A big thank you to the children of the Fayette Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, along with their members and friends, for their thoughtful toy donation.

These toys were collected as part of a special project and dropped off to us on Saturday. Donations like this help us bring comfort to children during difficult moments, and we truly appreciate the kindness and support behind it.
