🚧 UPCOMING RAILROAD CROSSING CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Norfolk Southern Railroad and its contractors will begin rail crossing improvements on Monday, May 11, 2026. Crews will start in Butler and work west to Waterloo. We do not have exact dates for each crossing closure; only a start date and the direction of intended work have been provided.

🚦 What to Expect:
During this project, multiple AT‑GRADE road crossings will be temporarily closed for approximately 48–72 hours per crossing.

Crews will remove existing asphalt to make the necessary railway repairs and complete each crossing by repaving it to ensure safe travel for motorists.

🚗 Please plan alternate routes during these closures and allow extra travel time while work is completed.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these closures occur. Updates will be shared as they become available.
