Waterloo Fire Department Waterloo Fire department is 100% volunteer. We're always accepting new applications. We are the Waterloo Fire Department located in New York State.

Stop by on a Monday or Thursday night 7pm to pick up an application or take a tour. We are a 100% volunteer department. Our chain of command is as follows, Chief, 1st Assistant Chief, 2nd assistant Chief, Captain, four Lieutenants and 30-40 Firefighters training in various capacity. Something you don't see too often, a little culvert cleaning project to help save the tax payers tens of thousands of dollars to replaced a plugged culvert instead of digging the old one up and replacing it. Our members along with Border city fire department flushed it clean with our fire engine. Mission accomplished and a job well done.

Huge shout out to our mutual aid partners today
At approximately 10 am we, along with
Seneca falls with one engine and a Quint
Junius with one engine later cancelled
Fayette with one engine on standby for us and Seneca falls in our station
Geneva with their RIT team and Heavy rescue
Seneca county fire coordinators office
North Seneca Ambulance
Waterloo Police Department
along with numerous members and officers assisted us with over 20 houses that needed to be investigated due to a massive jump in voltage from the grid due to a faulty transformer.
Chief Clark reports only one resident was transported by North Seneca ambulance for minor medical needs but no other injuries were reported.
We responded with Two engines, three Chiefs, numerous firefighters, and fire police .
