Press Release: Port Huron MI Engine 3 was dispatched to a call reporting a male pinned beneath a vehicle. The vehicle was being lifted with an engine hoist. The vehicle also had no front tire on the drivers side and no jack stands in place during the lifting operation. The engine hoist subsequently failed & tipped pinning a male victim under the front cross member. Members of Engine 3 used their HURST Jaws Of Life Edraulic Spreader in conjunction with the TL-9 Stabilizer to lift the vehicle while other members used cribbing to chase progress and capture the load.
