The Chief of Department regrets to announce the death of Firefighter Louis R. Visco (retired). Firefighter Visco was appointed to the Watertown Fire Department on May 2, 1968 and retired on July 6, 1997 after nearly 30 years of service to the Department and the City of Watertown.

Please join us in congratulating Lieutenant John Baccari on his retirement from the Watertown Fire Department.

Lieutenant Baccari was appointed on April 27, 1994 and was promoted to Lieutenant on May 12, 2005. He retires after serving the Department and the City of Watertown for more than 32 years.

We wish Lieutenant Baccari a long and healthy retirement.

Firefighter Z. Robbin (currently deployed in Japan) received an award for his life saving actions from the Navy and Marine Corps for an incident with a member of the public.
