Watertown Police Department Charity

Watertown Police Department Charity Due to the outstanding support and generosity from businesses and individuals, we will continue to support the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center.

As you may know, the Watertown Police Department has held two Charity Golf Tournaments known as “Teeing Off For The Leever Center.” Both events were an outstanding success and we are proud to announce that over $48,000 has been raised benefiting the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center “Stepping Forward” Survivorship Program. On October 6, 2017, we will host the third annual Watertown Police Depa

rtment Charity Golf Tournament. The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center in Waterbury is a facility dedicated to outpatient care and is focused on high quality care for all forms of cancer. Medical breakthroughs have provided cancer patients with a second chance of living fulfilling lives with friends and families. The HLRCC has developed a “Stepping Forward” Survivorship Program for individuals living with, living through, and living beyond cancer. The “Stepping Forward” Survivorship Program is designed to address the needs of cancer survivors and provide them with an effective post-treatment plan for care, disease prevention and support. October is known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease, and what better time of the year to show our support. The Watertown Police Department Charity is a nonprofit organization which is committed to the wellbeing of our community. All donations will go directly to the Survivorship Program and is tax deductable. With your generous donation, a cancer survivor will be able to continue living a joyful and fulfilling life. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. Sincerely,

The Watertown Police Department Charity Committee
