National Police Week is observed each May to honor the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers across the United States and to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the line of duty. This week serves as an opportunity to recognize the dedication and commitment of the men and women who serve and protect every day.

During National Police Week, the Watertown Police Department recognizes and thanks our officers, civilian staff, and the families who support them behind the scenes. We also take this time to remember and honor the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their dedication to public safety and service will never be forgotten.
