June is extra special at the Beacon Center because we’re celebrating our beloved office poodle, Abbie, turning 10 years old! 🐾 And in honor of her big milestone, we’re inviting YOU to join something meaningful: The Harbor, our monthly giving program.

For just $10 a month, you can help provide ongoing support and hope to the individuals and families we serve every single day. Small monthly gifts create a BIG impact — and together, we’re hoping to welcome 50 new Harbor members during the month of June!

Each May, Beacon Center staff makes a special trip to Sisseton to honor the memory of Attiemay Barbor—a woman whose heart for helping others continues to shape our work today.

In 1995, Attiemay left an endowment gift to Beacon Center, which allowed us to purchase the building that houses our office and shelter—a foundation that ensures we can continue to serve survivors and families for generations to come.
