Adam Moore for Sheriff

Adam Moore for Sheriff Adam Moore for Carver County Sheriff About Adam Moore
Candidate for Carver County Sheriff
My name is Adam Moore.

I am a husband, father, and experienced law enforcement leader with over 20 years of public safety service in both large metropolitan sheriff’s offices and smaller departments. I’m running for Carver County Sheriff to bring proven leadership, integrity, and a commitment to community to the role. Throughout my career, I’ve worked patrol, supervised officers, trained new recruits, and led high-risk

emergency responses. I’ve authored department policies, overseen compliance efforts, and helped secure nearly $1 million in grant funding to support traffic safety and officer wellness initiatives. I founded and lead the Highway 7 Safety Coalition, a multi-agency effort focused on reducing crashes and saving lives through collaboration, education, and innovation, including implementing the nation’s first AI-assisted distracted driving enforcement program for passenger vehicles. My leadership style is based on servant leadership. I believe in putting people first, empowering our deputies, and building trust with the community. I believe the Sheriff should be visible, accessible, and accountable to the people they serve. It’s time for strong, steady, community-centered leadership in Carver County.

Today, we remember the three Carver County deputies who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. These brave men gave their all to protect this county.

Their sacrifice is not measured only by the lives they saved, but by the loved ones they left behind and the legacy of service they carried every day they put on the badge. Carver County owes them a debt that can never truly be repaid.

Please take a moment today to remember them, honor their families, and reflect on the courage it takes to stand between danger and the community they swore to protect. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Servant leadership is all about relationships. People will not remember you for your budgeting abilities; they will remember you for how you treated them.

Nine years ago today, my family lost this wonderful man, and Ramsey County lost a great leader. My stepdad, Ron Valento, is who taught me about leadership and what it truly means to serve your community.

Your loss is still felt strongly to this day.

This week we honor the men and women who sacrifice daily to keep our communities safe. The sacrifices are many: missed ballgames, missed celebrations, holidays away from family, and countless moments taken from their loved ones in service to others. Some have given the ultimate sacrifice in the pursuit of justice and peace.

Please take a moment this week to thank a police officer or deputy for their service. We also honor and remember those who were taken from us far too soon. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Thank you to all our correctional staff. You do job that not many people could! Thanks for keeping our communities safe?...
