Memorial Sunday - Members came together to remember and honor the firefighters we’ve lost. Flowers were placed in their memory as we took a moment to reflect on those who gave so much to our community. A meaningful day for all who attended.

This evening’s drill focused on testing flow and drafting operations from multiple cisterns throughout town to ensure reliable water supply in non-hydranted areas. Regular testing like this is critical to confirm each site is fully operable and ready to perform when it matters most!

Tuesday night at approximately 2215 WFD was dispatched to Thomaston for a second alarm commercial structure fire. Members operated for approximately 5 hours in single digit temperatures. This fire is a devastating loss to the town of Thomaston. Our thoughts are with all of the business owners and employees impacted.
