In just over two weeks time, we'll be kicking off Curious Kids Hour, the summer S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) events. The first activity will be Making Terrariums on July 1st!

Designed for rising 2nd through 6th grade students, these occur every Wednesday throughout July. Join us for hands-on experiments, technology literacy, creative builds, and so much more!

Family Storytime starts at a fresh, NEW time this Saturday!
On Saturday, June 13, at 10:30 am, come listen to "Miss MacDonald has a Farm" by Kaylee Gwarjanski, the summer selection for the North St. Community Trail StoryWalk®, and other moo-ving farm tails with Mrs. Liz.

The target audience is 5-8 years of age, but ALL are welcome! Free and open to the public.

"Plant a Seed, Read" with Waterville Public Library's Summer Reading Program!
Pre-registration starts in NEXT WEEK on June 15 and opening day on June 22, 2026. The challenges will run from June 22 to August 15, 2026. People of ALL AGES and ABILITIES, from toddlers to adults, are welcome and encouraged to participate. Record the minutes you spend reading and earn prizes throughout the summer!

June is a month of many hats. We chose Caribbean-American Heritage Month and Pride Month for our first floor displays! As always, we take this opportunity to highlight many wonderful and varied voices and stories, both fiction and nonfiction works. On the third floor, Adult Fiction, the genre display is offering fantasy books of all flavors!

The books on these displays rotate as they get checked out and we have many books waiting to fill empty spots! If you don't see one you're interested in, or are interested in books from the monthly themes we are not displaying, ask library staff for assistance.
