We have a surprise announcement! Two new therapy dogs from the Kennebec Valley Chapter of Love on a Leash will be joining use on Thursday, June 4 from 3:30–4:30pm! We're so happy to offer Pawsome Tales one more time before the summer months. As always, children can drop in and take turns reading their favorite book with a therapy dog, no appointment necessary. We look forward to seeing you!

It's time for our June2026 Newsletter! June sees the start of many fresh, summer programs. Pre-registration for Plant a Seed, Read, our 2026 Summer Reading Program opens on June 15th. The Summer Feed lunch program returns to the library for the first time in years on June 22nd! We've also started accepting donations for our July Book Sale!

The Library is CLOSED today, Monday, May 25, 2026, for Memorial Day.

Memorial Day, observed on the last Monday of May, honors the people who died while serving in the U.S. military. We extend our gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives while serving in the country's armed forces and wish our patrons a peaceful and safe holiday.

We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26 at 10am.
