Take a look at the newest addition to McKenzie Electric’s system: our new mobile substation.

Unlike a permanent substation that serves one location, this unit can be moved throughout our service territory to provide temporary support where it is needed. It can help carry electric load while crews work toward a permanent solution, giving MEC another tool to help reduce outage impacts and support reliable service for members.

Today was Employee Safety Day at McKenzie Electric.

Employees had the chance to learn from one another and talk through safety practices used across the cooperative. Taking time for this training helps our employees stay prepared and continue serving our members safely.
