Happy New Year Schuyler County!

Soon you should be receiving your current 2023 Town and County Tax Bill. Please note that these bills are payable to your Township. Our office does not collect until after April 15, 2023. Should we receive your payment we will be mailing it back to the address provided. To avoid delay in your payment please send all payments to your Town Clerk.

NOTICE

The final delinquency notification for the 2021 Property Tax will be in the mail this week.

Please note the amount listed is valid until August 30, 2021. If not paid by August 30, 2021, the property will be listed in the Watkins Glen Review & Express. If taxes are still out standing by 10/31/21 it will be included on the Delinquent Tax list that is filed with the Schuyler County Clerk’s Office.

The Treasurer’s office is open 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

03/17/2021

The Treasurer's Office cannot start collecting the 2nd Installment of the 2021 Tax Bill until April 15, 2021. Any payments sent to us before that time will be returned back to you.

Please reference your tax bill for the dates and amounts due.

Another reminder that your 2021 Tax Bill is payable to your TOWN through the end of March. Please contact them with any questions you may have.

02/26/2021

Today (2/26/21) is the last day to pay properties in foreclosure before the County takes title. Payments must be received in our office by 4:30PM.

02/22/2021

The last day to pay on your property if it is in foreclosure is Friday, February 26th. We have to have to receive the payment in our office by 4:30PM that day. Please call our office at (607) 535-8181 to schedule an appointment to do so.

Another reminder that the 2021 Town & County Tax Bill is payable at this time to your town clerk ONLY. Please refer to the bottom of your tax bill for the remittance address.

Again, payments received by our office will be returned to the taxpayer through March 31, 2021.
