Schuyler County is working with the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce and the DEC to create a plan that will respect the environmental integrity of the Catharine Creek Wildlife Management Area and educate the public about the marsh's natural wonders.

A survey will be open through August 31st https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5MG5FQ3 with a Public Open House scheduled for Wednesday, August 26th from 5:00-6:00pm at the Human Services Complex 323 Owego St, Montour Falls.

It's that time of year again! Schuyler & Yates Counties are hosting the Annual Household Hazardous Waste event on Saturday, August 15th from 8:30am-12:00pm in Watkins Glen.

We will be accepting tires for $3/tire (off-rim, cars and light trucks only), all other electronic and household hazardous waste will be accepted free of charge.
