We’re hosting two essential certification courses to help you level up your skills.

AVAILABLE TRAINING COURSES AT WATKINS SWIMMING POOL

*Lifeguarding Certification
-Dates: May 29-31
- Cost: $200.00
-Master the skills needed to save lives and ensure water safety.
Must be 15 years old by last day of course

*Water Safety Instructor(WSI)
-Dates: June 2 - 4
-Cost: $250.00
-Learn how to teach others to swim and stay safe in the water
Must be 15 years old by last day of course

We are presently recruiting pool staff.
If interested in working at the pool, call Watkins City Hall.

Notification of swimming lesson sign-up dates will be posted here and on the city hall marquee. The anticipated date is mid-May. The number of lessons offered will depend on the number of WSI staff we are able to hire. We will provide updates on postings soon.

Due to the chilly temps, the pool will be closed today, Sunday, August 24th.

The pool will be closing for the season at 7pm on August 31st!

We will be closed from 1-4 on August 21st, 23rd, 28th, and 30th for private parties.

We have a few updates as we head into August!
-We will now be open Kraut N Wurst Saturday (August 2nd) from 1-8!
-Starting August 4th, we will be closing at 7pm.
-We will be closed from 1-4 on August 21st, 23rd, 28th, & 30th for private parties.
-We are now renting out our picnic area! So if you’d like to have a party at the pool but do not want to rent the whole pool, you can rent just the picnic area! You are able to bring outside food and beverages in for this and will have your own space to eat, open presents, etc! The cost to rent the picnic area is $50 for 3 hours!

Free swim is tomorrow!!☀️Make sure you pick up your free swim pass from a local business to get in free!

We will be hosting another free swim day on Friday, July 18th!!☀️ In order to get in free, you must pick up a pass from one of the local businesses listed below! We hope to see all of you there!🌊🌞
