The UGA College Republicans attended The Oconee Stumping Grounds put on by the . It was an awesome event where our members were able to hear from candidates up and down the ballot.

It was a great chance to connect, learn more about the issues shaping our state, and engage with leaders working to make a difference. We are excited to see what is ahead as we work towards the midterms!

Since his appointment in 2019, John King has consistently fought for the interests of Georgians. King proudly supported Georgia’s tort reform—which has saved Georgia policy holders millions—has fought insurance fraud, waste, and abuse, and has been Georgia’s #1 advocate for keeping insurance options competitive and compatible for Georgia families. King has also served our state and nation honorably in uniform in the U.S. National Guard, with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, in addition to his service as a police officer and as Doraville’s Chief of Police. No one in Georgia is as qualified or competent to serve as Georgia’s Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner as John King—a proud patriot, Georgian, and immigrant who has consistently displayed his love and care for our state’s wellbeing. Tyler has continually put Georgia and our farmers first, and will continue to support Georgia’s growth in his next term as Agriculture Commissioner.
