Woodmen Life Chapter 8 has been missing many who have policies and we would like to have you return to the fold, if physically able. There is much we could be doing with your presence. We presently are meeting at Cheddar's Scratch kitchen on Epps Bridge in Oconee County and gather in front area at 11:45 AM. If you are interested call the Chapter Secretary, Tom, at 706-345-6455 and if you have a question. Woodmen Life Chapter 8 is still helping meet the needs of the struggling citizens in the AREA AND AS NEEDED IN THE WORLD. Have a wonderful day and be thankful.

Chapter 8 has a great past, but the times are changing. Just a few are keeping the "truck" in the road. We had 4 members at the last meeting and invite anyone if you are a member in good standing, please consider coming home to Chapter 8. We meet on Second Tuesdays at Lunch at Cheddars in Athens/Oconee County. Our current outreach is a Christmas Celebration for the 84 staff members of the High Shoals Rehab in Oconee County, Ga. We are few but glad to be able to do what we can. God bless you and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Woodmen Chapter 8 reaching Clarke and Oconee counties is wanting to hear from our inactive members. Our pending fraternal events, due to Covid-19's disruption, are dedicating a flag and flagpole at the Rutledge Veteran Park in the future. We have a flag to present to Oconee Senior Center and a special presentation to a Boy Scout Troop.
Our on-going projects are the chapter's partnering with ACTS of Oconee Co and NE Ga food bank in Athens, Ga. Our chapter has spirit but we need YOU. Tom Davis, Sect.

Hello, people of the Woodmen Life Nation. The Oconee /Clarke Counties Chapter 8 wish all a great day. We need several new members to join us at chapter meetings. Our next meeting is October 10 at 5:30 pm at Cheddars on Epp Bridge. We will be discussing ways to help the community and follow up with our delayed 9/11 recognition in Rutledge, Ga.

Chapter 8 holds quarterly meeting effective April 1, 2019. The second quarter meeting is on April 11, 2019, from 6:00-8:00PM at Union Christian Church. We need your participation and patience as we pull together all our resources.
