May 19, 2026: This week, Rotary will hear from two leaders in senior living development: Armand Vari, Partner at Jacoby Development Inc., and Paul T. Aase, CCIM, Owner and CEO of Active Senior Concepts.
Armand Vari is a veteran developer whose four-decade career includes landmark projects such as Atlantic Station, the Ford Aerotropolis redevelopment, and the Porsche North American Headquarters campus. Today, he is helping lead the development of Celebration Village senior living communities across metro Atlanta, responding to the growing demand created by the “Silver Tsunami.” In addition to his development work, he also serves as a point person for the city to World Rugby, supporting Atlanta’s bid for the 2031 Rugby World Cup.
Paul T. Aase brings more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience, with expertise in appraisal, brokerage, acquisitions, and development. Since 2014, he has focused on luxury senior living resorts as Owner and CEO of Active Senior Concepts. Under his leadership, the company has developed more than $150 million in senior housing projects, with completed developments selling for a combined $230 million. The company currently has more than $300 million in its development pipeline.
