Our powerful North Oconee Rotary Club with monthly service projects has come to an end after 10 years. We did provide support to our main local community nonprofits one last time. Ashton Hope Keegan Foundation, Lydia's Place, OARC, United Way NEGA & ACTS (area churches together serving).

12-10-24 North Oconee Rotary Club doing what it does best- Service Above Self. Today we packed 150 Christmas meals for our local food bank ACTS (Area Churches Together Serving). We also were grateful to receive a grant to assist in our project.

11-16-24. North Oconee Rotary picking up trash on our adopt two miles. We were able to have extra helpers assist in helping us pick up litter.

We had an amazing tour of the new Oconee County Library last week! They have great quiet, places to study/work but also places to gather as a community. You can stop in to help with the community puzzle, donate some items for the friends of the library, & of course check out some amazing books, puzzles, how-to kits & even bake pans! The creative space is also an incredible area with a lot of resources. Get a library card & go check out this great space! 📚🧩🎂🧑‍💻🖨️🎙️

Our next Shred Day is Friday, October 18th. Same as usual-drive thru, 11-1pm at OVP, rain or shine! Shredded paper is recycled♻️

Our club hosted BINGO at the Oconee County Senior Center today! We enjoyed playing many games & giving away prizes. Plus EVERYONE went home a winner! 🎉🅱️5️⃣

Today our club had a special guest lead our pledge of allegiance & she sang a beautiful blessing before we enjoyed hearing all the amazing things Athens Area Community Foundation is doing to help our local non-profits & community !!

We took the grand tour of the new Classic Center Arena. It is beautiful & we are so excited to see its growth! We can’t wait to see the finished space.🦞
