You guys!!! We did it!! I’m still in shock!! Thank you so much for all the love and support! I couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you!! Huge shout out to Shelly Sawyer for everything you’ve done! I can’t even begin to list it all! Brenda Calhoon Sheik, from not even knowing me to being one of my biggest supporters!! Tomorrow is THE BIG DAY! I can’t thank you guys enough for all the love and support these last few months! You’ve been great! No matter how tomorrow turns out, I’ll forever be thankful to those that showed up and supported me.

Hello Blaine County! I would like to re-introduce myself!! My name is Heather Sawyer-Spangler and I am running to be your next Blaine County Clerk!
On June 17th I won the primary election with 47.45%. Unfortunately I needed to have 50.1% for it to be completely over, so I still need your support!!
I am a 35 year resident of Blaine County, born and raised in Watonga. I have two beautiful children, Kayden and Kynzli. I am the daughter of Bart and Shelly Sawyer and the late Charlotte Sawyer of Watonga and Kimberly and Ken Folsom of Piedmont.
I started my career in the county clerk's office in 2004 under Linda McPherson. I continued working in the clerk's office over the years; even commuting from Mustang twice a week during my short time there.
I have an associates degree in Business Management and have passed all 7 tests to become certified to work in the assessor's office through OTC. I pride myself on professionalism. I am knowledgeable, experienced and qualified.
If elected as your clerk I would like to make some updates and go more digital with the indexing process. We would have a printed copy of the index, we just wouldn’t be doing the hand indexing that clearly takes more time away from employees and sometimes leads to longer wait for documents and the difficulty of reading some handwriting.
