In the days since Dolly Parton’s passing, people around the world have reflected on the joy she shared, the lives she touched, and the remarkable legacy of generosity she leaves behind.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, more than 300 million books have reached children and families around the world. Her work showed us how one act of kindness, repeated with care and purpose, can create a lasting ripple across families, communities, and generations.

Her legacy reminds us that philanthropy is not defined by wealth. It is found in the ways we share our time, resources, compassion, and voices to help others and strengthen our communities.

We’re proud to celebrate Rossy Torres, Site Supervisor at our Early Education Division Fairgrounds Center, as she marks an incredible 26 years with Community Bridges.

For more than two decades, Rossy has dedicated herself to nurturing young minds, supporting families, and helping create brighter futures for the children in our community. Her compassion, commitment, and passion for her work have made a lasting impact on countless children and families.

“My 26 years at Community Bridges have taught me that the most valuable work isn’t measured in days, but in lives transformed.
