Time to highlight another "Photo of the Week". This one, sent in by Mary Rose, shows her Grandpa, Jess Palone (on the far left), with a group of fellow baseball players. Mary told me that they played baseball across the tracks, south of the current feed mill. The photo is probably early 1900s. I spoke with Mrs. Hagan today, and she said that baseball was definitely played down across the tracks back in the day. Thank you so much Mary for sending this photo!
