Our Speech students in Mr DiMarco's classes today are putting their communication skills to the test with a fun round of “Speed Dating!” Students rotated through conversations, practicing how to ask thoughtful questions, respond confidently, and keep a conversation going. We are so excited to welcome our students and kick off a brand-new school year! Our halls are ready, our staff is excited, and we can’t wait to see the learning, laughter, connections, and memories this year will bring.

Hey, Warriors — we're almost ready to welcome you back! Here are three things to know before the first day:

1. On Aug. 14, class schedules will be available in PowerSchool and emailed to families and students. If you'd like to request a schedule change, visit the website: www.waukeeschools.org/academics/schedule-requests

2. The Back-to-School Open House is Aug. 20 from 6-8 p.m. Stop by to meet your teachers and find your classrooms.

3. Don't forget, we have new bell times! Classes begin at 8 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.
