We're excited for these three and their adventures ahead as part of the Zoo Crew! 🦓🐅🦒

Meet The Waukee Middle School Zoo Crew! Reese, Zoey, and Brandon applied and were selected for the Blank Park Zoo's teen volunteer program. They'll learn important job skills by helping with the animals and zoo events.

The students actually learned about the program with the help of a school associate, Cheri Oelrich. Cheri, who also works at the zoo, helped connect the students with the program after she learned about their love for animals.

Look who made their WMS debut, two adorable chicks! After anxiously watching their incubation, our students proudly welcomed these little ones and even gave them the most creative names: Viktor and Toenail. Safe to say they have cracked open some excitement in 6th grade! 🐥
