Art Park A community park in downtown Waukegan In spring of 2011, we are bringing Art Park back to life, thanks to many community volunteers and talented artists!

Local artist and activist Jim Harrington was the creator of Art Park, as well as the Dandelion Wine Festival, Beach Blast, Books on the Corner, Art Bus and many other arts initiatives and original work. To help us, please contact [email protected]

This is Tyler Ketchum Jim Harrington stepson. I am recruiting anyone who loves art and nature! We would would love to help us restore Art Park back to its original beauty!!We are looking for anyone that can help us with some landscaping and resupplying the park with outdoor art. Sue Harrington will be giving a way a free Jim Harrington print to any volunteers. Here are some pictures of how Jim Harrington originally designed the park. We will be starting in April as soon as the weather breaks. Please get a hold of me and let me know how you can help.
