Due to the ongoing investigation into the threat to the County Courthouse and Administration Building those buildings will remain closed for the remainder of the day. The public and all employees are being asked to stay away from the building.

Proceedings scheduled for today (Jan. 6, 2020) in Waukesha County Circuit Court and at the Waukesha County Juvenile Justice Center have been canceled due to a courthouse closure. Proceedings scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 7 are set to resume as scheduled.

The Waukesha County Courthouse and Administion Center are closed until further notice. If you have business at these buildings this morning, including a court date, (1/6/19) please check back to see when the buildings are reopened and when court dates will be rescheduled.

All non-essential Waukesha County offices, including the Waukesha County Courthouse, will be closed on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

All 24-hour operations such as the Communication Center, Jail, Mental Health Center and Sheriff’s Department are not affected by the closure and will maintain their regular schedule.

Due to a stretch of anticipated cold weather that has been described by the National Weather Service as historic, all non-essential Waukesha County offices will be closed all day tomorrow and Thursday.

As part of this closure, the Waukesha County Courthouse will be closed and all court matters will be rescheduled. County offices will reopen on Friday, February 1, at 8 a.m.

All 24-hour operations such as the Communication Center, Jail, Mental Health Center and Sheriff’s Department are not affected by the closure and will maintain their regular schedule.

Due to the anticipated heavy snow and hazardous road conditions, all non-essential Waukesha County offices will be closed all day Monday, January 28.

As part of this closure, the Waukesha County Courthouse will be closed and all court matters will be rescheduled. County offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 29, at 8 a.m.

All 24-hour operations such as the Communication Center, Jail, Mental Health Center and Sheriff’s Department are not affected by the closure and will maintain their regular schedule.

Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow has declared a Winter Weather Emergency from 6 p.m. Sunday, January 27 until 6 p.m. Monday, January 28 due to anticipated heavy snow and hazardous road conditions. All non-essential Waukesha County offices will be closed all day Monday, January 28.

Remember - If you have business at the courthouse this morning, please give yourself extra time to park and go through the Security Screening Station. Due to a planned event, parking will be limited and increased pedestrian traffic may lead to longer wait times and delays. Please plan accordingly.
