Here are September's Library Memory Project's Memory Cafés! A memory café is a social gathering for those experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss, or mild cognitive impairment, along with a family member or care partner. It’s a place to have fun, share experiences, and stay connected.

It's time for Friday Library Adventures! This week, library staff from across the area came together at Waukesha Public Library to learn more ways to repair and protect books at Demco's Book Doctor Workshop. They covered pages, hinges, spines, jackets, tip-ins and lamination applications!.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Tracks in the Stacks Bigfoot Hunt! We collected more than 5,300 prize-entry forms. Winners will be announced September 8. Stay tuned!

We are saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton, who reminded us that stories have the power to bring people together.

Through her lifelong support of libraries and literacy, she encouraged families to embrace the joy of reading. Dolly’s example also extends beyond books. Her music, kindness, and compassion remind us to care for our neighbors, celebrate one another, and lead with kindness.
