We're wrapping up our Staff Summer Spotlights with Brianna! She is one of Waukesha County’s Family Find and Engagement Social Workers and has been working in the social work field for more than two years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from UW–Eau Claire and is currently pursuing her master’s degree at UW–Madison—Go Badgers! Brianna chose social work because she wanted to make a positive impact in the lives of children, youth, and families in her community. She finds her role especially meaningful because it allows her to spend time with families, help them build important connections, and strengthen the support systems that can help them live healthy, fulfilling lives. One of the most meaningful experiences in her career so far has been facilitating Blended Perspectives Meetings, which bring families and other supportive people together to address a child’s greatest unmet need. We appreciate you, Brianna!

UPDATE: ALL BACKPACKS HAVE BEEN CLAIMED

📚🎒🚌School is just around the corner! At HHS, we believe that all of our students needs a backpack full of supplies!

Pick up dates:
🎒Monday August 10, 10a-6p
🎒Tuesday, August 11, 9a-3p

Location:
Human Services Center
514 Riverview Ave, Waukesha
We are located on the #9 Metro Bus route

Eligibility:
🎒Current HHS client OR
🎒Receiving public assistance (such as medical, food, or daycare) through Moraine Lakes Consortium

Note:
🎒If a family is unable to attend, they may send a representative, such as a family member or friend, to pick up their backpack.
🎒No ID is required.
🎒No application is required.
