Correction to this previous post. Garfield County is not under a burn ban, but still don’t be “ That Guy”. Conditions are ripe for wildfires. Please be attentive and avoid burning if possible. Remember to call in any controlled burns.

RIP: Services for Sgt. Lee Frisendahl will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 1, 2026, at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center under the care of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Tomorrow, we will welcome home our brother and friend #963 Sgt. Lee Frisendahl.

An es**rt of Enid Police Department Honor Guard, along with members of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Garfield County Sheriff's Office, Hunter Fire Department, Kremlin Fire Department and Mercy Ambulance Service will travel along Garriott from Oklahoma City, enroute to Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Please join us at the Enid Police Department and along Garriott to honor him and his homecoming.

We expect the procession to pass the station about 11:15 a.m.
