CHIEF NATION >> The first round of basketball playoffs kickstarts tomorrow night @6:00pm and we are hosting our District games against Barnsdall! We hope to have ALL our Chief fans there cheering our Chiefs & Lady Chiefs to victory! Doors open at 5:00pm. Tickets for all ages are $10/each at the door or click the link below & get them for $8.35/each.

Really proud of our kids these last 2 days. Waukomis was the host school of the 8-Man State Powerlifting Meet. Our kids ran the meet. We had kids that worked computers, kids that were weight jockeys, ran errands, judge, among many other things. We also had many that helped set up and tear down and get 11 racks worth of weights, benches, bars, and mats from 4 different locations. It was awesome! We received multiple compliments from many coaches on how well we did.

Thank you so much to the parents that helped work the meet and the ones that loaned pickups and trailers and helped with clean up. Most people don’t realize all of the work that goes in to putting one of these on and we are so appreciative of everyone that made it happen.

Thanks to our admin and board for allowing us to do this and thank you to the Expo Center for being the host site.

Also, our lifters competed and represented Waukomis well. We had multiple PR’s and kids that were close to medaling. Here are the ones that medaled:

CHIEF FANS!! Just a reminder that tomorrow is our community wide PEP RALLY in the gym. We'll have a homemade fry bread Indian taco meal for $10 or a hot dog meal for $6. So bring your APPETITE and SCHOOL SPIRIT and help send the Lady Chiefs & Chiefs into Playoffs!! The more community the better!
