Information regarding Waukon's Online Payment Portal.

Effective June 15, 2026, they will re-enable the ZIP code validation requirement during credit card authorization for online transactions.

All credit and debit card transactions, including payments made with stored cards are affected. If a stored card uses an incorrect or outdated billing ZIP code, payments using that card will be declined. Payers will see an error message like:

Verify your payment information with your bank before trying again.

Payments made by ACH or eCheck are NOT affected.

The payer will need to confirm the ZIP code entered matches the ZIP code on their card's billing address.

At the City Council meeting last night, the mayor proclaimed May 17-May 23 as National Public Works Week. We are thankful for our staff in the Public Works Departments.

‼️After not receiving an update from Republic Services today on the status of Waukon’s Spring Clean Up, Richards Sanitation will be bringing two trucks and 6 staff to work as quickly as possible to get everything cleaned up and complete the service.
