School buses are getting back on the road, and it's important to know what the different flashing lights on a school bus mean.

Flashing yellow: Slow down and be prepared to stop. The bus is preparing to stop, and the red lights will be activated soon.

Flashing red: Stop at least 20 feet from the bus and remain stopped until the red lights are turned off and the bus begins moving again.

Traffic in both directions must stop for flashing red lights unless you are traveling in the opposite direction on a divided highway with a median or physical barrier.

Join Special Olympics Wisconsin and our Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) partners for the 13th Annual Cop on a Rooftop on Friday, August 14. Stop by a participating Dunkin’ location, grab your favorite coffee and donut, meet local law enforcement officers, athletes, and volunteers, and help support thousands of Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes across the state.

This fun community tradition has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years, helping provide year-round sports training, competition, health programs, and leadership opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Every donation makes a difference!

We had a great time at Waunakee Night Out yesterday! Thank you to all of our amazing partners who joined us and helped make the event so much fun. We loved connecting with the community and appreciate everyone who stopped by. We can't wait to see you again next year!
