Water Department will be shutting the water off on the north side of town. There is a big water leak on Florida Street. Our water guys will be working as hard as they can to restore the water.

CURRENT WATER PLANT UPDATE

Our Water Department has been working to get the membrane filters on the 3rd skid changed out.

The old membranes were successfully removed today, and the crew will be installing the new membranes tomorrow.

We’re hopeful that once the new membranes are in place, we will see an improvement in the amount of water being produced by the plant.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while our water department continues working hard to keep our system running.

Thank you to our Water Department for all their hard work and to our Street Department for lending a hand when needed.

Beginning Tuesday, August 18, 2026, 7th Street from Park Ave to D Ave will be closed as our Street Department, with assistance from the County, works to repave a portion of the roadway.
Please use an alternate route while this work is underway and allow our crews plenty of room to work safely.
Road is expected to be opened up on Thursday, August 20th, 2026

The water department is working on a water line on 3rd street. They have turned the water off to Main St at this time.

A large 6 inch main has been hit on Hwy 5. Water is off in the area. The water department is actively working to get this repaired as soon as possible. We will update as we can.
