Five Wausa EMTs were recognized this week for 35 years of service, a milestone decades in the making. The celebration was a surprise, organized by one of their own, and included state certificates and awards from the governor.

Welcome, Chief Boston!

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming the new Police Chief of Wausa to the office for his ID card—and let’s just say Knox wasn’t about to miss out on the moment! He made sure he was right there alongside Chief Boston for the photo.

We did have to sneak in a quick retake, but in the end, these two look more than ready to get to work and serve the community.

Wishing you all the best in your new role, Chief Boston! Wausa is lucky to have you, and we’re confident you’re going to do great things for the community.
