Thank you to the Wausau American Legion Post 10 for their continued support of our Wausau Police K-9 Unit! This past week they presented Officer Pacey & K-9 Astor with a donation of $500, which will go toward helping support our dogs with the equipment they need to remain successful.

Today our K-9 team was honored to meet up with Gary Plath, who recently provided our K-9 Unit with a donation. Gary is a Wausau resident, a former law enforcement officer and military veteran. He took some time to share stories about his life, and his motivation behind supporting our police K-9s. In appreciation, we provided him with one of our K-9 Unit challenge coins and a special sticker.

If you're interested in a Wausau PD K-9 Unit Challenge Coin, you can pick one up at our police department during normal business hours for $15. If you're not local, send us a direct message and we will make arrangements to mail it to you for an additional $5.

These coins are sold as a fundraiser to help support our K-9 program.
