This key leadership role reports directly to the WVLS Director and plays a vital part in supporting library services across our 7-county region. This position operates in a hybrid remote/in-office environment.

The WVLS Board of Trustees welcomes Katrina (Katie) Zimmermann as its new System Director, effective July 27.

Since 2019, she has served as the WVLS ILS (Integrated Library System) and V-Cat Consortium Administrator.

โ€œKatieโ€™s connections with the ILS and WVLS operations will be beneficial for all WVLS libraries,โ€ said Tom Bobrofsky, WVLS Board of Trustees President. โ€œShe is always well-presented, her experiences are valuable, and we envision a smooth transition when she assumes her new role."

Prior to working at WVLS, Katie was the Youth Collection Specialist (2013-2019) and the Teen Services Coordinator (2008-2013) for the Marathon County Public Library in Wausau. She earned her MA in Library and Information Studies from UW-Madison and her BA in Outreach from Concordia University.
