WVLS is seeking a full-time ILS Administrator to join our team in Wausau, Wisconsin.

This key leadership role reports directly to the WVLS Director and plays a vital part in supporting library services across our 7-county region. This position operates in a hybrid remote/in-office environment.

In 2025, the Rudolph family from Edgar visited all 34 WVLS member libraries.

“As 2024 was ending, I made a commitment that we would use our library card at every location where it worked,” said Kelsey Rudolph.

The WVLS Board of Trustees welcomes Katrina (Katie) Zimmermann as its new System Director, effective July 27.

Since 2019, she has served as the WVLS ILS (Integrated Library System) and V-Cat Consortium Administrator.

“Katie’s connections with the ILS and WVLS operations will be beneficial for all WVLS libraries,” said Tom Bobrofsky, WVLS Board of Trustees President. “She is always well-presented, her experiences are valuable, and we envision a smooth transition when she assumes her new role."

Prior to working at WVLS, Katie was the Youth Collection Specialist (2013-2019) and the Teen Services Coordinator (2008-2013) for the Marathon County Public Library in Wausau. She earned her MA in Library and Information Studies from UW-Madison and her BA in Outreach from Concordia University.

Last Friday, members of the WLA Library Development & Legislation (LD&L) Committee held their meeting at the Rhinelander District Library.

The group also celebrated longtime library advocate and WVLS staffer Kris Adams Wendt's birthday! 🎂 🎉
