Faith in Action of Marathon County Connecting Seniors in Need with People Who Care!

All services are provided by trained volunteers and are offered at no cost to Marathon County seniors (60 and over). Services offered include: rides to medical appointments or grocery shopping, food deliveries from area food pantries, friendly visiting & companionship, light housekeeping, minor home repairs and assistance with reading/paperwork.

Did you know that Faith in Action of Marathon County offers friendly visits to seniors throughout our community?

We believe no one should feel alone. Through our Friendly Visiting program, volunteers provide companionship, conversation, and connection to seniors throughout our community.

We also offer:

✔️ Food pantry deliveries

✔️ Transportation services

✔️ Wellness checks

To qualify for services, individuals must:

• Be 60 years of age or older

• Live in Marathon County

• Meet our program eligibility requirements

Last year, our volunteers provided thousands of rides, delivered groceries to seniors, and offered countless friendly visits and wellness checks.

Our office will be closed Thursday, July 2, through Sunday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen with normal business hours on Monday, July 6.

If you are a care receiver with a service already scheduled during this time, your service will still take place as planned.
