Talent!! 💛✨

For my talent I performed a self-choreographed jazz dance to “Another Day of Sun” from La La Land.

During the first run through of my dance on Friday morning I totally skinned both my toe and my knee and was bleeding all over (I’ll spare you all the pictures of that one 😅). The show must go on and we persevered to get through the other 3 runs/performances of the day!

A huge, huge thank you to The Dance Room Wausau for letting me use studio space to practice for several weeks!!

Before the Miss Wisconsin Week events this morning, I traveled to Wauwatosa to take my CNA skills exam!

This was the final test I needed to pass to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, and I’m so excited to say that I passed!!

Pursuing a career in medicine has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember (see slide 2 🤪), and working as a CNA will allow me to gain valuable clinical experience that I can apply to my future role as, hopefully, a physician!!

Scholarship is such an important pillar of the Miss America Organization, and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to continue advancing my education!!

The other teens and I had so much fun greeting customers and delivering meals!

A portion of the proceeds from meals purchased during the evening went to support the Miss Wisconsin Organization, which we are so grateful for!!
