As a candidate for the school board, I believe that every student matters. My commitment is to ensure that all students are valued, supported, and provided with opportunities to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Strong schools are built on engaged teachers. I will advocate for meaningful teacher involvement, collaboration, and professional respect, recognizing that empowered educators are essential to high-quality learning experiences.
Equally important is maintaining community trust and confidence in the school board. I am committed to transparent decision-making, open communication, and accountable leadership. By working collaboratively with families, staff, and community members, I will help foster trust and ensure that board decisions always reflect the best interests of our students and our community.

Did you know over 1 in 3 students in our district lives on the East Side?

It’s a significant part of our community, yet only one board member is currently representing this area. My goal isn't just to represent one side of town, but to make sure that the 38% of our students living here aren't overlooked when we plan for the future of our schools.

I’m asking for your vote on April 7th so I can be a voice for all students, ensuring our resources
and attention are balanced across the whole district.

I want to wish 2 WSD students a happy 13th birthday. These 2 are one of the many reasons I am passionate about being part of the Wausau School Board. These girls are 7th graders at Hoarce Mann and their little sister is in 2nd grade at Riverview. As a parent I have a vested interest in education for years to come.

Wausau residents in your opinion what do you see as the biggest challenges for the Wausau School District. As a candidate I feel the biggest challenge is providing the best education we can for all students while dealing with the current budget constraints. Operating as efficiently as possible and treating money as our own is a start to doing this. Comment your challenge options below.
