Tonight is the night!

Clinton Township residents are invited to join us for our Open House tonight, Tuesday, October 6, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Clinton Township Office, 5736 County Road 15-1, Wauseon.

Clinton Township provides a wide range of services that help keep our community safe, maintained and moving forward. Tonight is a chance to learn more about that work, meet the people behind it and better understand the four Township levies on the November 3 ballot.

Stop in anytime to:

• Meet the Township Trustees and Fiscal Officer
• Speak with maintenance staff and fire department representatives
• Learn more about the services Clinton Township provides
• Review levy costs, revenue information and official public documents
• Ask questions about Township operations, equipment, finances and how levy funds are used

There is no formal presentation, so come when it works for you.

Light refreshments will be available, and we would love to see residents stop in, ask questions and learn more about everything Clinton Township does for our community.

Clinton Township does not advocate for or against any ballot issue. Information provided at the open house is intended solely to educate residents and provide factual information regarding Township operations and the levies appearing on the November 3 ballot.

Today, Tuesday, October 6, Clinton Township is hosting a Levy Information Open House from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Clinton Township Office, 5736 County Road 15-1 in Wauseon.

Stop in anytime to:

• Learn more about Clinton Township and the services we provide
• Review factual information about the four upcoming Township levies
• Meet Township Trustees, our Fiscal Officer and maintenance staff
• Talk directly with representatives from the fire department
• Ask questions about Township operations, finances, equipment and services

This is an opportunity to learn more about how your Township works, where your tax dollars go, and the services that support Clinton Township residents every day.

The Clinton Township Rural Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 5, at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Hall, 5736 County Road 15-1, Wauseon.

The hearing concerns a variance request from Russ Dominique to build a new building at the southwest corner of State Route 108 and County Road D. The request relates to required setbacks and the Panhandle pipeline right of way.

The application is available for review at the Township Hall. For more information, call 419-335-8961, ext. 10.

September 11 is a day our nation will never forget.

Today, Clinton Township pauses to honor the victims of 9/11, the brave first responders and service members, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

We remember their sacrifice, their courage and the unity that brought Americans together in the days that followed.
