Behind the scenes! Where Our Food Comes From - Part 6: Your Financial Gifts
During the past five weeks, we've explored the charitable food system. Ag producers, statewide programs like Feeding America, food recovery programs, local gardeners and community food drives that help provide the food we give. Despite the incredible impact and remarkable support the charitable food system provides, it alone cannot meet the need.
You - our donors make up the difference. Your gifts enable us to purchase food when free food sources are not enough. This is no small feat, in 2025 these costs exceeded $60,000! Your gift no matter the size makes a difference!
It is clear, providing food for those experiencing hardship depends on many parts of the community working together. Thank You!

Stay tuned for more behind the scenes stories from our pantry to you!

Behind the scenes! Where our food comes from-Part 5: Local Gardeners.
In 2025 the pantry received an incredible 5,000 pounds of fresh produce from local gardeners through our “Plant A Row” initiative. Those who plant extra rows on behalf of the pantry and gardeners who share their abundant harvest make an incredible difference to the families we serve, who usually can’t afford fresh produce.
