📣 Attention W-SR High School students and families! The Go-Hawk Scholarship Fund (GHSF) fall fundraiser is LIVE!

How it works: Students must purchase 4 credits of coupon books to qualify for GHSF scholarships during senior year. Each credit is 4 books at $10 each ($40 total). Students can earn one credit per year or purchase multiple credits at once. Books can be resold to friends, family, and neighbors for $10 each to recoup the cost.

The fundraiser generates approximately $10,000 annually, helping ensure every participating student who completes the senior-year scholarship application and meets all requirements receives at least $425, with opportunities to apply for additional Foundation scholarships!

🎓 The average scholarship awarded to 2026 seniors was $1,300. Scholarships can be used for college, trade school, or military training.

Invest in your future while supporting your Go-Hawk community! Thank you to the generous donors who make this program possible!

Attention all high school students and families: The fall fundraiser for our Go-Hawk Scholarship Fund (GHSF) will begin with online sales of Hy-Vee coupon cards on Monday, October 12-October 18. In person sales and coupon card pickup will be October 20-23 during lunch in the cafeteria.

The link below will take you to our general online giving page. On October 12, you will be able to select "2026 Go Hawk Scholarship/Hy-Vee Card Sales. It is currently not live.

To be eligible for scholarships from the GHSF during a student's senior year, students must have purchased 4 credits worth of coupon books. One credit can be earned each year (1 credit = 4 books at $10 each, totaling $40), or multiple year's worth of credits can be purchased at one time to catch up or to knock it all out at once. Students can then sell the books to friends, family and neighbors for $10 to recover the cost.

The fall fundraiser generates approximately $10,000 annually for the scholarship fund. This ensures all students who participate, fill out the scholarship application in January of their senior year and follow through with requirements will receive at least a $425 scholarship, with the opportunity to apply for many other named scholarships with the Foundation.

The average scholarship amount awarded to 2026 seniors was $1,300. Scholarships can be used to pursue college, trade school programs and military training.

This is a great opportunity to help you pursue your interests and career paths. We are grateful for our many individual, family, business, service organization and school organization donors who help make this program possible!
