The last day of school is always bittersweet… We celebrate students, and are so proud of all their accomplishments, but are sad to see them go. We remember that it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. From the bottom of our hearts, we will miss you. 🥰 Have a wonderful summer!☀️💙

Last efforts to reunite clothing items with their owners. Students will peruse in the morning but please help us! If you see an item belonging to your child, name it and claim it. (Student/teacher) We will do our best to get it home to you/your child. 😉

We welcomed a lot of visitors today at Humphrey! Thanks HLWW’s Minnesota Honor Society for your organization of a book drive and gifting students with “new to them” books through a book walk!📚

Kindergarten takes the stage tonight to capstone their year in movement & song. Here's a sneak peek of practice this morning. We hope you can join us tonight at 6 p.m. in the HLWW HS Auditorium to celebrate a great year of learning & growth! Our days left in K are limited, but our school & life adventures are not... bring on first grade! 💙💛

The kindergartners were also on the move last week, with an adventure to the MN Landscape Arboretum. Hands on exploration, science in action, and a wealth of learning. The weather was cooperative as well which made for a fun day all around.

Wednesday was an adventure on the water, the docks & piers of Waverly Lake, bringing our fourth graders from Humphrey Elementary and Winsted Elementary for the annual Woitalla Fishing Expo. Students learned about aquatic life, lake stewardship, and how to fish! Thank you to the MULTITUDE of volunteers who help each year to make a positive impact on our students. Almost all of our students caught fish. Soooo many fish stories told and a ton of fun! 🎣🐠
