No better way to end the summer than with a picnic!! Staff and Clients, as well as a few friends and board members gathered together today for some food off the grill and a time of fellowship. Special thanks to our admin and leadership team for putting our annual picnic together!

Today we said goodbye (for now) to our fabulous summer intern Erin! She has been part of our Employment Services as well as Development/Fundraising teams. We will miss having her and are truly grateful for all she did to support our clients and our mission as part of her learning and education at UNI.

The bipartisan Recognizing the Role of Direct Support Professionals Act urges the Office of Management and Budget to establish a Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) for direct support professionals (DSPs).
