As you may have noticed, we have been making many changes to our Utility Bill system. Along with the different look of the bills and new payment portal, we are changing the dates of billing.

You will notice the changes on the service dates on your bill. Bills are now due on the 16th of each month, not the 10th.

🚨Attention Residents🚨

Utility Bills are being received and the questions are rolling in. The MN Test Fee is a yearly fee set by the State of Minnesota. It was supposed to be added onto the bill received last month, however with our new software switch, it was not. It is included in the previous balance on the bill received this week. The amount of the fee is $15.22 and there are no penalties charged on this. If you notice a previous balance on your bill, this is why. Again, this is only charged once a year.

Along with the new bill format, irrigation meters and home meters are on the same bill. You will no longer receive two separate bills. There is a flyer along with your bill with directions on how to sign up for the new online payment portal. You will need the customer number that is on your bill in order to sign up!

Online payments are on hold currently. Our new billing software is in the process of getting converted and with it, you will need the new account number on your bill to make a payment. No online payments will be accepted until the bills are received. You will receive a letter with more information regarding the online portal with your utility bill.

All Waverly Residents: there was a blurb on the latest newsletter that we are switching our online payment portal. On behalf of the Utility Department, we want to let all residents know that the change is coming SOON! We go live with our new program beginning next week. With this new program, your utility bills will look different and have a new account number. If you have auto-pay using our current portal (PSN), please note that it will not work with the new account numbers. When your next bill is received, there will also be a letter attached with direct directions on how to pay online with the new portal!

Please be patient with us as we navigate this new system that will make everything easier for all of us!

Important updates regarding some upcoming meetings! The Council Special Session that was scheduled for tonight, has been moved to next Wednesday (7/29/26) at 5pm. The Parks Commission meeting will be held at Summerfield Park at 6pm, NOT City Hall!

Please note that changes to any meetings will first be updated on the City Website, so it is best to check there first!

The City of Waverly takes drinking water safety very seriously. There is information in the notice about how you can test your home's water as well as on the City Website. The City will be submitting new samples to the state for testing as soon as possible. The City hopes to have new results within 60 days and those results will be shared with residents once received.
